Three Counties Challenge Ride Date Released!
Thanks to everyone who took part in last years event. The weather was almost kind to us but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves - All the cake went too!
This years event is to be held on Sunday 4th March.
Choose from our 42mile or 71 mile rolling routes taking in some of the most picturesque scenery in the area.

Dave back with a bang!
Returning to the racing scene, David Barnes of Echelon-Rotor, took the honours in the Leamington 10mile TT with a winning time of 21.24mins. He was supported by veterans Brian Newton and Alan Colburn with times of 25.03mins and 26.58mins.

Vince gets another win and a second!
Echelon-Rotor's Vince Page has had two excellent results on the Stourport Circuit with a win in the LVRC Event taking the bunch sprint and was second in the sprint finish at the Bromsgrove promotion.

Vince gets second win!
Echelon Rotor team rider Vince Page took his 2nd win of the season in an event at Stourport circuit, followed a few days later with 4th place on the same course. He completed the week with another fine performance finishing 3rd in the 3rd Stage of the Ernie Clements Memorial road race at Welland, in the process winning his age related category.

Tim's back with a win!
In Sundays event of the Echelon 2 day TT, Echelon team manager Tim Wood did a fine ride to win the event by over a minute in a time of 43.06 mins, with Paul Dring taking fifth spot in a time of 45.06 mins.

Tom wins Midland junior title & women's Tri success!
Echelon-Rotor Triathlon Team (From left to right)
Alison Bagnall, Fran Osborne, Helen Russell and Heather Rees.
In the Midlands DC 10 mile time trial championships at Alcester, Echelon-Rotor team member Tom Ward was the fastest junior with a time of 22.12 mins. Alison Bagnall was 6th fastest lady in 24.36 mins and senior riders Mark Heath and Stefan Harrison recorded 21.25 and 21.36 to finish in 8th and 9th places in the mens event.
The Echelon-Rotor Triathlon Team of Alison Bagnall, Fran Osborne, Helen Russell and Heather Rees successfully defended their Cardiff Triples title. The team showed great all round strength to claim the honours in an event that consisted of 3 seperate triathlon races. Winning by an impressive 9 minute margin to the second place womans team.

Team win in Wales!
It was a busy weekend for the Echelon-Rotor team. Team Manager Tim Wood produced a seasons best time of 52.18 minutes for 4th position in the Cardiff 25 mile Time Trial at Usk. Ably supported by Dave Dickerson 53.24 and Simon Osborne, which gave Echelon-Rotor the team honours.

Steve in Road Race win!
Echelon-Rotor's Steve Dring won the Moreton Evening Handicap Road Race after being in the scratch group which caught the field with two laps remaining. On the last lap he broke away with another rider maintaining a gap until the finish where he took the final sprint.

Team win in Welsh rain!
Echelon-Rotor won the Team Award in the Welsh Open 50 mile Championships with the team recording good times in the very wet and windy conditions. Dave Dickerson led the team home recording 1.56.49hrs to take the individual silver medal position

Arja just outside world record!
Echelon-Spiuk member, Arja Scarsbrook, representing her home country of Finland, had a fantastic week of racing in the European Masters Track Championships at the Manchester Velodrome. Competing in the 50+ Age Group Arja won the gold medal in the 500 metre TT and then went on to collect the silver medal in the 2000 metre Individual Pursuit and in doing so she came within 12 hundredths of a second of breaking the 60+ world record with a time of 2.46.050 minutes...

Yet another win for Dring!
With the road season now in its final weeks the Echelon- Spiuk riders are continuing their fine results. Steve Dring won the evening handicap series at Moreton. In addition, he finished 11th at Thruxton and 12th in the Elite RR at Lulworth to secure 2nd place overall in the Wessex Cycle League.

Adrian wins Tour of the Wrekin and wraps up series!
Adrian Bird of Echelon -Spiuk won the latest round of the West Midland
Road Race League to secure his overall victory in the series. He out sprinted
his breakaway companion Andy Young of Derby in the Tour of the Wrekin.

Arja wins European bronze and new age group record!
Competing in the European Masters Track Championships at the Manchester Velodrome, Arja Scarsbrook improved her existing European 60 plus Age Record for the 2000m Pursuit with a time of 2m 47.173s, barely a second short of the World Record.

Last weekend Echelon Cycles organised two OpenTime Trial Events of 10 and 25 miles held on the Alcester Course. Both events had a full field of 120 riders attracting many top riders from the local area.

Echelon Time Trial weekend update.
Echelon Cycles are pleased to announce that despite newly completed traffic-calming measures in the village of Salford Priors, both the K33/10s and the K33/25s have been approved for use.
This means the the weekend goes ahead as planed with no
course amendments.

Echelon expansion - Opening weekend confirmed!
Echelon Cycles are currently expanding into the adjacent shop. The work is due for completion in mid April and to mark the occasion we are inviting you to the Grand Opening on the weekend of 18th and 19th of April.
We will have many attractions on these two days:
